New Stand, a budding startup, needed to transform it’s primarily physical service offering during the COVID pandemic. Together, we built an all-new service offering with a completely new brand look and feel.

With the in-person office culture taken away over night, we needed to create a digital way to engage and inform employees.
Solution
A personalized daily checklist keeps employees informed, engaged, and connected. A detailed notification system keeps your alerts organized. Recognition between employees encourages deeper connections. Every action the user takes earns points that can be redeemed via a customized employee store.

Design Exploration
The company was asking for something with personality, not just polish. Three moodboards opened the conversation, giving the team a low-stakes way to surface preferences and find early alignment.
One direction kept pulling focus: a neo-brutalist aesthetic that felt fresh without being gimmicky. Before committing, a quick competitive scan helped gauge how the style was showing up across the market. This helped us find a design language that felt differentiated, not derivative.
From there, the moodboards evolved naturally into more defined design directions, sharpening the visual language until it was solid enough to carry into UI.
